Destiny Orphanage in Bangoulap, Cameroon
Destiny Orphanage, an outreach of Destiny Missions International, is located in Bangoulap, Cameroon. FahMiyanwi partnered with them to bring a sustainable source of clean water and provide solar power for the pump, which not only blesses the orphanage but the entire village.
You may support the orphanage now and in the future through FahMiyanwi. We have partnered with them financially to pass along any designated donations to them directly (see below).
In 2001, Apostle Helene Nguena received a vision from the Lord. He gave her the name of a village in which to build an orphanage for Him and showed her the land (which was later donated by the King of the locality).
In 2011, Apostle Helene entered the village of Bangoulap with a purpose to restore lost souls to their destiny and help them operate in their God-given potential. The orphanage has since been built, and FahMiyanwi was blessed to become involved and bring water.
Before the well, children and volunteers carried buckets and containers of all sizes to retrieve dirty creek water. A few strong ones pushed a cart with larger containers to a nearby community two kilometers away (1.25 miles). They stored the gathered water in plastic barrels outside the orphanage for cooking, drinking, washing, and laundry.
Ongoing needs of the orphanage include staff salaries (between $60 to $200 per month), food and medical costs for children ($1,120/month), tuition fees and required school uniforms ($470), and a host of practical needs like firewood and gas for cooking and heat, toiletries, and maintenance needs.
Your generosity is directly shared with Destiny Orphanage and appreciated more than we can express. Every gift through FahMiyanwi is tax-deductible and done through a secure giving site. We welcome your involvement and extend our deep gratitude!
