Christmas in Mforya
Four previous water projects either stalled or were insufficient, and Mforya was in a water crisis with a rapid population increase due to its proximity to a semi-urban area and an uprising creating a massive drift out of the village.
Witness the first water coming out from Mforya on the video below. You’ll hear, "We are that moment, finally, and it may never be the same again here. Manual labor is gone. Myfora is entering a new phase. Christmas in Myfora is going to be easy, easy, easy."
We are thrilled!
Mforya Project Cost: $30,800; Project Impact: Population 2455 and 352 households. Lives changed for $12.50 per person! Mforya Cultural and Development Association said, “Thank GOD for the timely intervention of Fahmiyanwi NGO that has put a beautiful solar powered borehole at the CENTER sub-quarter. … The Mforya community will remain indebted to the FAHMIYANWI NGO.”
““God has given us two hands – one to receive with and the other to give with.
We are not cisterns made for hoarding; we are channels made for sharing.””
