† - The End … The Beginning

It is my sincere prayer that the Lord will bless you as you strive to live the life He promised you, and that you will develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Everything begins with God and ends with God. We have to make Him our priority.

The Strange Case of George Wilson[1]

In 1829 two men—Wilson and Porter—were convicted of robbing the United States mail and sentenced to death by hanging. Three weeks before the time set for Wilson's execution, he was pardoned by President Andrew Jackson.

Strangely enough, Wilson refused the pardon. The case went to the Supreme Court and the court finally handed down its decision: “A pardon is a deed, to the validity of which delivery is essential, and delivery is not complete without acceptance. It may then be rejected by the person to whom it is tendered; and if it is rejected, we have discovered no power in this court to force it upon him.”

Most people would agree that Wilson was a fool for refusing to accept a pardon. Yet these same people daily reject the pardon which God has provided for them.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
—John 3:16

Your pardon has been signed by God Himself. Now all you need to do is accept it by telling God in prayer that you are guilty of sin; ask Him to pardon you Pardon has been OFFERED by God. “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to ALL men” (Titus 2:11). Jesus “is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice, the sin-bearer) for our sins, and not for ours only but also for THE WHOLE WORLD” (1 John 2:2).

Pardon has been OFFERED to ALL men – to the WHOLE WORLD At the same time you call upon God trust Him to pardon you for Christ's sake. Do this and God will deliver the evidence of your pardon and you will be released from the prison of sin. Unless you accept the pardon, you remain condemned. “He that believeth not is condemned” (John 3:18).

I ask you to stop right now and willingly ask God for the signed pardon offered by God Himself through His son Jesus Christ.

A pardon is ONLY a pardon IF it is accepted.

FULL PARDON has been GRANTED and is waiting ...

Will you ACCEPT God’s pardon on His terms?

“If you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart
that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.

“For with the heart
one believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9–10

I ask you now to stop and pray to God using the script as follows:

PRAYER
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner.
I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
I want to know you personally.
I believe that you sent your only son, Jesus Christ,
to die for my sins on the cross,
and I believe that you raised Jesus
from the dead.
I want to spend eternity with you.
Thank you for loving me.
Invite me into your kingdom.
Reveal to me the plans you have for me.
I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you have earnestly and sincerely prayed this prayer, you can be assured of spending eternity with Him. Write to me so I can pray for you and send encouraging study material to you which can help you in your walk with the Lord.
